About us
The festival is created in a large team. On this page you will be introduced to the curators of our program. You can also read more about our newly founded representation for young perspectives. Please take a look at our wonderful partners, too. You can also read the digital edition of our Festival magazine here. If you want to have a look at our past – you can find our retrospective of previous festivals here.
Now that the festival is over, we'll also show you our "festival credits" with thanks to everyone involved - enjoy!

Representation for young perspectives
Nicole Etschberger
Nicole Etschberger wanted to be an actress, but is now studying media cultural studies in Cologne. Ever since she played a dancing tree in school, she knew she wanted to do theater all her life. She was assistant director of SOAP at Cactus Theater Münster and a member of youth theater groups for many years.
Florian Hecht
Florian Hecht is 19 years old lives in Berlin and has just finished school. He is involved in the participation scene in Berlin and is a member of the board of the Jugendweihe Berlin/Brandenburg e.V. He built up a youth organization in the FEZ-Berlin, which organizes various interactive live streams, conventions and project days for young people.
Jana Oehlerking
Jana Oehlerking (18) is graduating from high school in Kassel this year. My life jumps back and forth between climate activism, school and in between just enjoying life. What is the world like and what needs to be told? What needs to happen: to understand it, to feel it, to preserve it while making it a place for all? We need to change.
Mariella Pierza
Mariella Pierza was born in Berlin in 2007. She goes to a high school in the heart of Neukölln. She saw "The Little Mermaid" at the age of four and has stuck to theater ever since. Today she is on stage herself, where the mermaid once played. She also goes to the theater at least once a week.
Lena Riemer
Lena Riemer (*2002 in Düsseldorf) is studying German and sociology in her native city. Started writing because it was the only thing that made sense (it still is). Her texts can be found in literary magazines and anthologies. Would also like to write for the theater in the near or distant future.
Thalia Schoeller
Thalia Schoeller writes articles, reviews and theater texts. She leads the podcast "Zu jung für's Theater" (too young for theater) and conducts audience talks for the PATHOS, where she realized two of her own directorial works in 2022. In addition, she will take over the Schauburg's writing workshop in 2022/23 and begin studying liberal arts.
Alicia Ulfik
I'm Alicia, 19 years old and I also played on stage as a child. Since my FSJ, the Drama Control and now the Young Perspective I am in a constant process of learning how the influence of children and young people in the theater is.
